2010 saw the hiring of new contracted staff for the Association. Malcolm Ashford, Executive Director and Renata Cecconi, Director of Communications and Members Services came on board in March and attended their first DTA AGM March 26 where they were able to meet with some of the members.
Malcolm Ashford will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and will assume responsibilities for financial administration, lobbying and advocacy, government relations and stakeholder engagement.

Renata Cecconi will oversee the communication plan of the organization, management of the DTA website, member relations and stakeholder communication.

Together they are contracted for two days a week and are committed to helping the Association provide value to its members.
They are both assisted by Ashley Opitz, DTA’s dedicated Administrative Assistant. Ashley has been involved with the DTA for the last four years and will be a great asset in ensuring our database of members is kept current, helping with the evolution of the new website and the day-to-day administration of the Association.
