216 delegates attended the DTABC Convention held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond on November 4 and 5, 2011. Delegates attended a series of lectures and workshops and were able to obtain up to a total of 7 CE credits.
The Convention's trade show featured 37 exhibitors that showcased their up-to-date material and technology.
At the awards reception, long-time industry supporter John Steede was honoured with a DTABC award as was two Vancouver Community College dental technician graduates Katie Wilcox and Darci Kachenko who were recognized as the 2010 Students of the Year for their outstanding work.
The DTABC Convention committee will start working on next year's Convention before the year-end and we encourage this year's delegates to send in their Convention evaluation forms to help make the program strong and relevant. Next year's Convention is scheduled for September 28 and 29 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond.
