John Steede who recently retired from Ivoclar Vivadent was honoured during the award's reception at this year's DTABC annual Convention. DTABC President Dave Carney presented John with a cheque of $500 and an Inukshuk carving for his long-time commitment and service to the dental technology industry.
2010 VCC graduates Katie Wilcox and Darcie Krachenko were also recognized for their outstanding work. Darci Krachenko was on hand to receive her glass framed engraved Student of the Year Award by DTABC President Dave Carney.
This year's DTABC Convention took place at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, BC November 4 and 5, 2011. Next year's Convention will take place again at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel in Richmond, September 28 and 29, 2012.
