The DTA of BC offers a variety of memberships to choose from. In order to find the membership that best suits your needs, please read the following descriptions. If you are still unclear as to which membership suits you, do not hesitate to contact us for clarification.

• General Member - Individual (click here to register)

  This is the most popular membership as it entitles the member to full benefits, including personal liability insurance. As a general member you can vote at any general meeting and are eligible to serve as an Elected or Appointed Director. This membership is for Registered Dental Technicians registered by the College of Dental Technicians of BC. Membership is valid from January 1 to December 31. New Members who join in the summer [July 1] or fall [Oct 1] of a given year will have their fees prorated.

• Associate Member (click here to register)

  This membership is designed for non-RDTs, who work directly or indirectly in the profession of dental technology or have an interest in the conduct of the profession in BC. With this membership, you are entitled to all benefits EXCEPT personal liability insurance. You can not hold an elected position and you have no vote at the general meetings. The cost of an Associate membership is 75% of a General Membership.

• Student Member (click here to register)

  This membership is for students that are attending a recognized dental technology program in Canada. This membership entitles the member to all benefits EXCEPT personal liability insurance. You can not hold office and you have no vote at the general meetings. The cost of this membership is $25 per year.

• Retired Member (click here to register)

  This membership is for RDTs who have retired from the industry, but would like to retain membership in order to access benefits and services. This membership entitles the member to all benefits EXCEPT personal liability insurance. You can not hold an elected position and you have no vote at the general meetings. You can hold office as an Appointed Director only. The membership fee is 25% of the current General Membership.
